Inspection Conclusion

With all the choice that exists why buy from a company with a history of product defects?

House inspection 1 was wrong.

Home inspection 2 is the only comprehensive and truly independent home inspection that replicated natural rainfall effects to a better degree of the three inspections/tests and discounted other leak possibilities.

Window test 3 conducted by the same inspector as 1 is suspect due to being wrong on inspection 1. Window test 3 was contracted/paid by the window manufacture.

Eagle brand windows with the same installation on the same house do not leak.

Six large panel windows exist on this house. All six large panel windows leak and did so on demand during all three house inspections. The excuses that the manufacture provides for any one window leaking does not apply to the other leaking panel windows. To have six windows in six different locations under different conditions leak indicates a fault with that window design to include on walls containing other windows of different design that do not leak.

The remaining five smaller panel windows also leak as shown by interior to the house water damage.

No home leaks exist except at this one manufacture's panel windows.

This manufacture has a past history of designing window defects. See a partial complaint history against this company.

The leaks are specific to one this one window design of the component construction of the panel window leaving multiple seam/seal failures. Not to the casement or half round windows

Incremental experimentation with supplemental sealant on the leaking windows stopped the leaks.
